Shipping

 

I aim to send out work purchased from my website within 5–7 days. International orders can take longer. Please be patient, I am a one person business and always try to send out things as quickly as possible. Once the item is shipped I cannot be held responsible for unforeseen delays due to weather conditions, busy holiday periods or customs delays.

I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please submit a safe address and communicate with your carriers about deliveries. Once the package shows as delivered I am unable to obtain additional information from my partner carriers.

Customs and Taxes

Unfortunately I cannot be held responsible for any additional duties charged to you by your country or delays due to customs.
 

Sustainability and Packaging

 

I try to minimize my impact on the environment both personally and within my business. As much as possible we re-use and recycle packaging products for shipping, so expect random outer boxes, newspaper off-cuts, etc. Any non-recyclable packaging like plastic bubble wrap is generally reused. If you can, please, do the same to further extend the life of packaging materials.

Returns and Breakages

I am a small business. As such, I ask that you make thoughtful purchases to avoid the need to return anything. All my pots are made by hand in small batches and therefore subtle differences can be expected from item to item.

If you are unhappy with your purchase and would like to return it, please contact me within 14 days from receipt and I can give you the address to which to return it. I cannot accept items returned later than that. Unless an item is faulty, shipment is your responsibility. Shipment costs are non-refundable

If any item is returned in a non-resalable condition (if it shows obvious signs of use or if it gets broken on it’s return journey) I cannot issue a refund, so please ensure it is packaged very carefully.

Items purchased 'on sale' or made to order cannot be returned or exchanged.

I take utmost care to make sure your ceramics arrives with you in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your pottery is damaged during transit, please,contact me with photographic proof of the damage. I will replace the item for you as soon as possible or offer a refund. I will process any refund due to you within 30 days of receiving your request.

Care Instructions


My pottery is high fired stoneware or porcelain meaning that it can, with care, go into the dishwasher or microwave. However, handmade pottery requires more care than factory made wares, so I recommend washing it by hand and avoid using the microwave whenever possible.

As with all ceramics, sudden changes in temperature, like moving from the freezer or fridge to the oven or microwave, could cause thermal shock and result in fragility and cracking and/or breakage of your pottery.
